Getting There
From Florence, take a regional train from Santa Maria Novella Station (1 hour 20 minutes to 2 hours, €6–10). Siena railway station is located about 1 km from the historic center and can be reached via a series of escalators. By car, follow the RA3 expressway from Florence (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes), but note that the historic center is a limited traffic zone (ZTL). Park at the Santa Caterina or San Francesco car parks, both of which provide escalator access to the city center. From Florence Airport, take Tram T2 to Santa Maria Novella Station and then continue by train to Siena.
